Term Weighting Schemes

Term weighting schemes are used to calculate and assign numerical value to each term, aiming to access its significance in differentiating a specific document from other documents.

Some common term weighting schemes are:

1. Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF- IDF)
2. Best Match 25 (BM25)

Weighted document vectors are the input to Topic Modeling, which looks for the themes hidden inside them.
